Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of ingredients do you use?
I try my best to always use the most natural and best ingredients that I have access to. I try to stay away from artificial ingredients when possible. For the most part, most of my recipes consist of good ole’ butter, white/brown sugar, all-purpose flour, fresh eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Boxed cake mix is never used - my products are made from scratch.

What area do you serve/do you ship?
I serve the Orange County and Los Angeles area. Unfortunately, I cannot ship my cakes, cupcakes, or cake pops. 

Where are you located?
I am a home based bakery located in Irvine, CA.


Do you deliver?
I do deliver. If you are within 5 miles of the zip code, 92620, a delivery charge of $2 will be added. Anywhere further will have an additional charge of $2/mile.

How much time in advance should I order?
I require a minimum of 2 weeks in advance for all orders. See below regarding payment.

*Orders placed before the minimum time are subject to an additional 20% rush fee.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit will need to be paid two weeks or earlier before your event. Deposits payed will secure and finalize your order for your specific event date.

If I found pictures online of cupcakes or cakes that I like and want, can you make it for me?  
Yes, of course! I strongly encourage pictures, that way I can see what you are envisioning and can recreate it into an edible artwork.

What is the best way to reach you?

Do you except credit cards?
Yes, credit card payments are accepted through PayPal. I also accept checks and cash as well.

Do you provide stands (cupcakes, cakes, cake pops, etc) or platters for me to use to display?

I do not provide stands or platters. Although, stands and platters can be rented. Email me at KaressKreations@yahoo.com for more information regarding rentals of stands and platters.

Do you have an order form I can fill out?
As of now, I do not have any formal order forms, however, if you e-mail me, be sure to include the following: 
-What you wish to order (cake/cupcakes/cake pops)
-List how many servings (for cakes)/cupcakes/cake pops you wish to order 
-What flavor cake and buttercream you would like
-If there are any decorations you want, please be as detailed as
possible (remember, pictures are encouraged! :) )
-The time and date you would like your order
-The address you would like to have your order taken to (Please note if
there are any gates or codes) *see above for delivery fees
-List any allergies your guests may have  
 

I've noticed that you make other desserts on your blog other than cakes and cupcakes, do you offer those for sale?

This blog was originally created to display my baking adventures. I do occasionally post things that I make for myself, friends or family that aren't necessarily cakes, cupcakes or cake pops.
